Online shopping threatens Bookstores

Online shopping threatens Bookstores

Reading books is the most amazing activity. It gives you knowledge on various things and you can live thousands of lives through it. Bookstores are places for buying books. Apart from a library, this place is on the top of favourite places-list of a booklover.
Online shopping has become another platform for buying books, amongst many things. The present workaholic generation which has a problem of time shortage, really, loves this platform as it is less time-consuming and the delivery of bought items is prompt even if that item is not available near you. Online users have the benefit of choosing with ease due to various filtering techniques present in the online sites. These sites have all types of items in them which   are very useful for a busy person as he can buy whatever he needs from one platform rather than going to different   shops. It is also easy for a consumer to buy things that are not available in their area. The prices of products are cheap as compared to stores. These are some things which make online shopping so popular and are dimming the spirit of a bookstore. Now-a-days, people tend to do online purchasing, thereby, reducing the profit and business of bookstores and hence the rate of bookstores being closed is becoming high.
Bookstores are important places to socialise. You can talk you other people there and get suggestions on what to buy. Online shopping is making people addicted to it and hence, they do less physical activity leading to adverse health effects and dependency   will increase on online technology. One should think about how they will suffer in the long run if they promote such dependency.

My love for Harry potter

My love for Harry Potter is immense.  Harry Potter is not just a book being turned into a film but for me it is the key of opening me to the world of fiction writing. When I was small I used to fear Harry Potter and other fiction films as they were full of darkness and whenever they used to come, I would've switched it off. I used to get bad dreams. My dear friend opened me to the world of Harry Potter and I am truly grateful to her for this. I love to read books so she suggested me to read Harry Potter. I was scared obviously but ultimately after a lot of persuasion issued the first part from the library. While doing so i thought I was out of my mind but I slowly started reading it. I was completely amazed by the book. It opened a whole new world to me. I was mesmerized by it. This world of wizards coexisted so well with the modern world that I fell in love with it. Eventually I began reading all the books and people laugh at me but really I cried when professor dumbledo

Pink Is For Girls And Blue Is For Boys, Why?

Now it sort of like a norm with everything pink customized for women and depicting feminity whereas blue and darker colours depicted masculinity.   Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I have written in this platform but I am grateful to all of you who have kept coming to this page and enjoying my world.  As I was deciding what to wear for my birthday in May I saw this pink dress which I had bought for Holi which I hadn’t worn because of the whole pandemic. I was still searching if I could find something else I could where instead of that pink dress when a thought came into my mind, Why am I not wearing pink? Since we are born somehow it is seen that if it’s a girl everything is pink and if it’s a boy everything is blue. Even for gender reveal parties and stuff this colour coordination is used. As the child grows up from birthday parties to clothes to room colours, everything is either pink or blue based on the gender. I guess me not liking pink was sort of a rebellion of my own aga
