No one is individual, even if we presume that we are. We all live in a society and sometimes we need company. People need someone to confide to and need someone to share things to. If we are together then we are strong and even if we pretend we don’t care, believe me everyone cares a lot of what people think of them, their reactions, comments and trust are all things that people really care about.
“Many leaves, one tree” this is a quote from animated film called “Epic”. Even if we are different, like different leaves of a tree, we belong to the same community or the tree. We are all part of this community and we want a feeling that is a sense of belongingness.
But anything in excess is harmful. If people always live together then they will hesitate in sending someone alone to study, they will always follow traditions and gradually become conservatives. The will not let children be independent and find their identity. People will tend to be overprotective and won’t let their children explore and fly.
Togetherness is a good concept and is very important in any individual’s life but too much of it bad.
