Developing new skills

Well I always love to do new things and learn as many new skills as I can.
So to honour my grandmothers I learned tailoring. Yes tailoring and believe me it was different and as well as difficult. But as people say practice makes anyone perfect so gradually as the time passed I learned how to make new things using a sewing machine.
I got so much obsessed with it that I saw stiching lines in clothes and tried figuring how the different sections of clothes were attached to make one attire.πŸ˜„
My first creation after developing this skill was a wall hanger having pockets which can be used for keeping things.
Later on I started making pouches and small bags. I started repairing my mom's dresses when the cn got open or a minor cut took place so why spend money to give to the tailor outside when you have a tailor in your own homeπŸ˜‰
Finally I made a kurta which needs more fine tuning but I am still practicing.

So one should never give and always try. One should always be open to new things because no one knows maybe that thing which you didn't try was destined to become your favorite pastime πŸ˜ƒ
And also never give up and practice, practice and practice.

Will Earth become a legend?

A big blue planet, lifeless and cold. It seems that nothing moves within it, when I view it from my telescopic window. Elders of our community tell us that this lifeless blue planet was called Earth. Lots of beings(living as well as non living) thrived on it. Human beings flourished and evolved on it. They used the natural resources present on the Earth to develop new technologies but human beings had a tendency to overuse those resources and then wanting more. This sense on unsatisfaction gradually led to depletion of the resources. Scientists and environmentalists persistently warned the human society but they didn't heed the warning. Some scientists and environmentalists started looking for a planet suitable for life.At last after continuous research they found a planet and started moving onto that planet. My grandparents were one of the people who agreed to go to that planet. After a year the Earth was destroyed due to floods, deforestation, volcanic eruption etc. like...

Pink Is For Girls And Blue Is For Boys, Why?

Now it sort of like a norm with everything pink customized for women and depicting feminity whereas blue and darker colours depicted masculinity.   Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I have written in this platform but I am grateful to all of you who have kept coming to this page and enjoying my world.  As I was deciding what to wear for my birthday in May I saw this pink dress which I had bought for Holi which I hadn’t worn because of the whole pandemic. I was still searching if I could find something else I could where instead of that pink dress when a thought came into my mind, Why am I not wearing pink? Since we are born somehow it is seen that if it’s a girl everything is pink and if it’s a boy everything is blue. Even for gender reveal parties and stuff this colour coordination is used. As the child grows up from birthday parties to clothes to room colours, everything is either pink or blue based on the gender. I guess me not liking pink was sort of a rebellion...
