Developing new skills

Well I always love to do new things and learn as many new skills as I can.
So to honour my grandmothers I learned tailoring. Yes tailoring and believe me it was different and as well as difficult. But as people say practice makes anyone perfect so gradually as the time passed I learned how to make new things using a sewing machine.
I got so much obsessed with it that I saw stiching lines in clothes and tried figuring how the different sections of clothes were attached to make one attire.πŸ˜„
My first creation after developing this skill was a wall hanger having pockets which can be used for keeping things.
Later on I started making pouches and small bags. I started repairing my mom's dresses when the cn got open or a minor cut took place so why spend money to give to the tailor outside when you have a tailor in your own homeπŸ˜‰
Finally I made a kurta which needs more fine tuning but I am still practicing.

So one should never give and always try. One should always be open to new things because no one knows maybe that thing which you didn't try was destined to become your favorite pastime πŸ˜ƒ
And also never give up and practice, practice and practice.

My love for Harry potter

My love for Harry Potter is immense.  Harry Potter is not just a book being turned into a film but for me it is the key of opening me to the world of fiction writing. When I was small I used to fear Harry Potter and other fiction films as they were full of darkness and whenever they used to come, I would've switched it off. I used to get bad dreams. My dear friend opened me to the world of Harry Potter and I am truly grateful to her for this. I love to read books so she suggested me to read Harry Potter. I was scared obviously but ultimately after a lot of persuasion issued the first part from the library. While doing so i thought I was out of my mind but I slowly started reading it. I was completely amazed by the book. It opened a whole new world to me. I was mesmerized by it. This world of wizards coexisted so well with the modern world that I fell in love with it. Eventually I began reading all the books and people laugh at me but really I cried when professor dumbledo

Pink Is For Girls And Blue Is For Boys, Why?

Now it sort of like a norm with everything pink customized for women and depicting feminity whereas blue and darker colours depicted masculinity.   Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I have written in this platform but I am grateful to all of you who have kept coming to this page and enjoying my world.  As I was deciding what to wear for my birthday in May I saw this pink dress which I had bought for Holi which I hadn’t worn because of the whole pandemic. I was still searching if I could find something else I could where instead of that pink dress when a thought came into my mind, Why am I not wearing pink? Since we are born somehow it is seen that if it’s a girl everything is pink and if it’s a boy everything is blue. Even for gender reveal parties and stuff this colour coordination is used. As the child grows up from birthday parties to clothes to room colours, everything is either pink or blue based on the gender. I guess me not liking pink was sort of a rebellion of my own aga
