Sifting through the Past

Hello everyone
It's been a while since I have posted anything.
While I was clearing my almirah I found old things of mine that I had created in the yesteryears. You feel so nostalgic when you view such things also you laugh at the fact that you once thought of such things and created them.
I always laugh when I read my old diary or letters I had written a few years ago. In that moment you also realise the value of time and how it is so fast. Also, while you are sifting through the sands of past (my father told me this line and I fell in love with it ever since)  you become grateful and thankful of what you've done, people who have helped you learn those things and it keeps you grounded.
Once a while I recommend everyone to go through old memories and be thankful for them occuring in your life. It will help you be proud of your life and help you be more grateful for it.
On that note I present you with a poem that I wrote 5 years ago which I discovered yesterday while I was checking my old diary. I love rhymes and rhythm and this poem surely depicts this. Hope you like it.

THE BEAUTY OF NIGHT
By the trees
I sit in peace
I love the starry sky
The moon up so high

I love the breeze
So cold and in ease
I sit in the freshly moaned grass
I can feel its mass

I lie above some leaves
Thinking of chirtmas eves
I go in my dreams
I see trees, flowers that gleam
I slowly put my legs in the river by
The beauty of night i enjoy.

My love for Harry potter

My love for Harry Potter is immense.  Harry Potter is not just a book being turned into a film but for me it is the key of opening me to the world of fiction writing. When I was small I used to fear Harry Potter and other fiction films as they were full of darkness and whenever they used to come, I would've switched it off. I used to get bad dreams. My dear friend opened me to the world of Harry Potter and I am truly grateful to her for this. I love to read books so she suggested me to read Harry Potter. I was scared obviously but ultimately after a lot of persuasion issued the first part from the library. While doing so i thought I was out of my mind but I slowly started reading it. I was completely amazed by the book. It opened a whole new world to me. I was mesmerized by it. This world of wizards coexisted so well with the modern world that I fell in love with it. Eventually I began reading all the books and people laugh at me but really I cried when professor dumbledo

Pink Is For Girls And Blue Is For Boys, Why?

Now it sort of like a norm with everything pink customized for women and depicting feminity whereas blue and darker colours depicted masculinity.   Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I have written in this platform but I am grateful to all of you who have kept coming to this page and enjoying my world.  As I was deciding what to wear for my birthday in May I saw this pink dress which I had bought for Holi which I hadn’t worn because of the whole pandemic. I was still searching if I could find something else I could where instead of that pink dress when a thought came into my mind, Why am I not wearing pink? Since we are born somehow it is seen that if it’s a girl everything is pink and if it’s a boy everything is blue. Even for gender reveal parties and stuff this colour coordination is used. As the child grows up from birthday parties to clothes to room colours, everything is either pink or blue based on the gender. I guess me not liking pink was sort of a rebellion of my own aga
